With summer approaching fast, ice-cold weed drinks are a great alternative to consuming cannabis from other methods like smoking. Here are a few ways how you can re-create your favorite infused drinks to keep you refreshed all summer long!

Cannabis-Infused Drinks vs. Alcoholic Drinks

The main reason to consume cannabis drinks over alcohol drinks is you can enjoy a chilled drink to unwind without getting the alcohol hangover the next day.

Companies are also becoming extremely innovative with their beverages. Drinks found in the market today are extremely flavorful and some come in with minimal calories and sugars. Instructions on making Cannabis-Infused Drinks

You need to start off with a THC tincture. This will be your base for all your drinks. You can make it yourself or you can buy THC oils at our store. Some people prefer the tinctures for drinks and the oils to put on their meals as the oil will not mix as well in the drinks. Having said that, both will give you the effect you’re looking for. Once this is taken care of, you are ready for the fun part!

How much THC?

If you are new to cannabis drinks, we recommend you start with 5mg THC. As previously mentioned, cannabis drinks are potent so we don’t want you to have a bad first experience. If you’re an experienced user then you can purchase the drinks from our store which come to 10mg THC and dose for a more potent outcome. Always start off lower than you’d normally consume and slowly take it up from there depending on how you are feeling.

Red “Strain” Gria

Sangria is a great drink for any season, especially the summer, enjoyed over ice. But "strain"gria? This is our take on cannabis-infused juice in lieu of headache-inducing wine: a win-win for all!

All you will need is a blueberry pomegranate drink. Add a slice of orange, and lemon, and it's ready to be enjoyed. You can also dose with THC tincture for a more potent effect.

Lemonade

Cannabis-infused lemonade is a classic summer thirst-quencher with a kick! It is incredibly refreshing and very easy to make at home, in under 10 minutes. You can make a pitcher fresh to drink, or bottle it up and refrigerate it for a tasty cannabinoid-infused drink later on. All you need is freshly squeezed lemons (around 4-5) poured over 2-3 cups of cold water to dilute. Infuse with THC tincture, garnish with mint leaves, and voila! You got yourself a very ref-refreshing drink. Alternatively, purchase iced tea cannabis-infused drink and dose with the THC tincture accordingly.

Cannabis-Infused Sparkling Watermelon-Basil Water

For many, watermelon is the official flavor of summer. But watermelon doesn’t just taste sweet and refreshing, it has a lot of health advantages, too. For example:

• It keeps you hydrated, as watermelon is made up of 92% water.
• It’s rich in vitamin C, which can act as an antioxidant.
• In animal tests, watermelon seemed to help lower inflammation.

The basil in this beverage gives it a nice herbal kick and adds magnesium and vitamin A to the drink, too.

To make this refreshing drink, all you need is watermelon, carbonated water, lemon (for a more sour taste), basil leaves, and ice cubes. Blend the watermelon in the blender; crush the basil leaves at the bottom of the pitcher. Top off with the blended watermelon and carbonated water. Add a splash of lemon juice. Throw in some ice cubes and mix in the THC tincture. Stir and serve chilled. Cheers!
